Abstract
Technological training must be linked to social development, so that the professional can make decisions compatible with the values of society, with a view to meeting the social needs of the country. The university, the forerunner of professionals, presents a form of education in which socialised and enriched knowledge is highlighted for the common good. The relevance of science and technology to social growth cannot be separated from the relationship between society, university and vocational training, and therefore the university plays a key role linking commitment, social responsibility and the development of new technologies. This opens up the possibility of problem-solving for society’s equal access to these new technologies and the awareness of social inclusion focused on quality of life for all citizens.
