Abstract
The project ‘Teaching Lutas for Citizenship’ benefits girls from families living in a situation of social vulnerability in the city of Fora J. The aim is to educate the juder mediated by the values of sport for human development. 60 girls aged between six and twelve years old are served. All the beneficiaries are public school pupils and participate in the school contrature of the project. The methodology prioritises value-oriented sportive training, the use of problematising strategies, dialogical and participatory relationships that enhance the role of young people and the life plan of the people concerned. Most girls express greater social integration and discipline for Jewish learning. Inclusion in Jewish education provides greater knowledge of their personal and social skills, stimulates decision-making and opportunifies the practice of juder in city academies, widening the scope of opportunities for those enjoying in sport.
