Abstract

The Chambers are more than present for the societies of the Central American North Triangle – El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. The complexity that this situation has acquired as a result of a process of securitisation contributed to El Salvador declaring the Chambers as terrorists. This Article questions the conditions under which such a decision is taken and the effects produced by that designation.
