Abstract
RESUMEN This article presents an alternative in the way the legal epistemology is conceived, which seeks to contribute to the restoration of the bridge between science theory and knowledge theory. Restoration, because the concept of epistemology used since the 19th century has predominantly referred to the theories of private sciences alone. This phenomenon has had important consequences for sciences such as law, which can be evident in many of the modern theories of law. One of those effects – perhaps the most important – has been to create a gap between law and justice, or to misunderstand their relations. Key words: Epistemology, gnoseology, law, justice.
