Abstract

Here we present one of the most relevant findings of the archaeological intervention carried out in 2007 in the ‘Dehesa de Los Estantes’ site, within the municipality of Malpartida de Cáceres: a ‘sbelta’ is a triangular header granite containing a woman’s epitafium and the dedication of her husband, both of which are indigenous. In addition, the textual message is reinforced by a rich set of iconographic elements.
