The legal framework provided by Law 27.349 on Support to Entrepreneurial Capital (LACE) is a suitable alternative for channelling small and medium-sized enterprises into the jurisdiction of the province of La Pampa. The Simplified Shared Company (SAS) figure has gained a degree of dominance over other types of company governed by Ley 19.550 General de Sociedades (LGS). The central aspects that motivate or favour their application in commercial practice concern the possibility of separating assets, limiting liability, the possibility of affecting single-person assets, the separation of activities, and the simplification of registration and administrative formalities in their operation. This issue is currently raised in the draft reform of the SAS Law and has already been sanctioned by the Senate of the Nation. The proposed amendments include: the registration by entrepreneurs in a specific register, the transfer of the digital register to the contracting authority for its administration, control and exclusive maintenance, the obligation to submit the accounting statements, and the supplementary application of the provisions of the LGS.
