Abstract

Praised readers, In order to socialise the knowledge produced through scientific research in the field of the Social Service and in the areas related to social sciences, the Social Service Course and the Master’s degree in Applied Social Sciences of the Land University of Ponta Grossa, the volume 11.1 of the Emancipation Revista is presented. In this volume the articles deal with different topics, but with a common focus on addressing foundations for citizenship, work, social policies, as well as human-social empowerment, discussing options for dealing with contemporary polêmic situations. General topics of interest to all those who think and work in social policies will open up this paragraph with the article “pointers about search methods in social sciences”, where the authors bring together different classic authors first and, second, affirm the methodology as a construction arising from the subject/object relationship. At this juncture, the article “Public governance: a challenge to democracy” concludes that “public governance” is an important institutional arrangement for the operationalisation of democratic principles. With the subject of the world of work, we have opened this block of articles with A History of Vocational Training in Brazil, the relationship between education and work in the context of vocational training. In ‘From workers’ demands to capital strategies: trade unions in the torvelinen of regional integration’, it is proposed to ‘thoroughly review the procedures’ on the basis of trade union action within Mercosur. The ‘Motivation for work and human behaviour in organisations’, reinforced by psychology and psychology, is the contribution of the next article. ‘Military police striking opportunities and restrictions on collective action’ describes how, in a demand for wage increases and the right to participate, there is a ‘conflict between the law and the norm’. Closing this block of articles in relation to the world of work shows that in a situation of social vulnerability and inability to absorb the labour force, capture by illegality makes a very close way to be found in “Considerations on narcotrafficking in Marajó: reflections on unemployment and illegality”. On the other hand, in order to strengthen the right of access to justice and access to justice, the author’s reflections are set out in the article ‘The contribution of the Special Judges in enshrining the right of access to justice provided for in the 1988 Constitution’. The “desafíos del trabajo social in front of these inequalities” complements this reflection in an input that makes us Vicente Fmbs, pointing to a critical commitment to the transformation of society. With a view to finalising this paragraph, in the ‘La logico interior y los dominios de acción moxide de lã Situaciones motrices de expresión (SME)’, we would like to remind you that the expression is present in body cothidianeity and always carries a significant and communicative intentionality. This is the reflection of a special contribution by authors of Physical Education coming from Spain. We wish everyone a good reading and use to enrich science in the country from the content presented in this edition of the magazine.
