Abstract
This work is a study to assess the implementation of the gender perspective at pre-school level in the city of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Specifically, the focus was on how false perceptions of childhood masculinities, as well as educational strategies to counteract them, were addressed. This was done through structured semi -structured interviews with eight female leaders in an education sector. The main findings highlight the lack of training and dissemination of gender equity in a systematic way and there is no relation to work with masculinities. This work is a study tending to evaluate the implementation of the gender perspective at pre-chool level in the city of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Specifically, the central interest was distributed in relation to how they address the false concepts of mass in childhood, as well as the educational strategies to counteract them. To this end, semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight female directors of an educational sector. Of the main results, there is a lack of training and dissemination on gender equity in a systematic way and it does not exist in relation to working with masculinities.
