Abstract
On the rise in teenage pregnancy in the region Caribbean, particularly in Barranquilla (Colombia), a research project – action for which baseline study allowed understanding attitudes from psychosocial and communicational aspects from adolescents towards sexuality. Socialisation of results the baseline study enabled community members school (teachers, parents and students) reinterpreting and adjusting the data, and then draw up a communication and education plan in a participatory and consensual manner. This study is ongoing. operating since 2003 in the city of Barranquilla within a local education system 1 with school populations between 12 and 17 years of age, using qualitative and quantitative research methods and mass and people-to-people communication strategies.
