MR PENICINE. WRITE YOURSELF TOGETHER. TRACES OF A RESIDENTIAL SEMINAR

Abstract

Organised by CEM and the Free University of Autobiography of Anghiari, the Residential Seminar at Penicina highlighted the experience of writing – autobiographical writing as a self-care and linguistic autobiography – also thanks to a context built into beautiful landscapes that evoke personal stories. Here, teachers learned how to work in schools and were conducted in an experiential dimension that left room for great emotions. Autobiography is based on words that are launched to walk itself, in particular children’s words because autobiographic memory is connective, is child-friendly and creates a link between these words and the adult experience. Writing your own autobiography means black on white what cannot be said to train to excavate, recreate, find meanings that are still unknown. It’s care for yourself. Linguistic autobiography is perfectly intertwined with the general autobiographic discourse, being a non-secondary aspect, because with language codes and words, it fosters self-awareness and decentralisation, showing each person’s contact with his own stranierity. At Penicin. Writing about Ourselves together. Memories of a residential seminar A residential seminar at Penicina, organised by CEM Pavia and Libera University of Autobiography of Anghiari (AR), gave value to the experience of enhanced self-writing – autobiographical writing as self-care and linguistic Autobiography – also thanks to the location where Splendid landscapes evoked personal stories. Participants learned methods to use in schools in an experimental dimension that made space for deep emotion. Each Autobiography started with words that that moved inwards, towards the self-particulate words from children, since autobiographical memory is connected, connotative and created a link between these words and adult experience. Writing on its own Autobiography means putting on paper what cannot be said, in order to train oneself to dig up, fix and find still unknown meanings. It is self-care. Linguistic Autobiography is Perfectly intertwined with general self-biographical discourse, presenting a significant aspect, i.e. with linguistic codes and words it fosters self-awareness and Decentralisation, showcasing each person’s contact with their own uniqueness.
