Abstract
The first period of the Ottoman state in Europe was the "Lale Age" from 1718 to 1730, when envoys were sent to many countries in Europe to study their training. But the biggest and most potent innovation of this era is the printing press opened together by İbrahim Mütefera and Sadi Efendi. The article provides information on the identity and opinions of the Commonwealth of İbrahim. It is highlighted that its influence is not only limited to the printing press, but by publishing works of science that may be new for the Ottomans, giving the first news of Europe's Renaissance.
