Abstract
Dress-code opens towards the self-representative polyphonies of the subject that challenges every fixed, compact, unitary identity, plays with irony/parody with styles (ethnic, dark, punk, fetish, folk, cosmopolitan, etc.), hybridises the body as an opus that assembles leather, objects, cosmetics, Sensoralia; it dialogues, evokes, cites, wears, creates the space within which it moves. In dress-code each trait has no meaning encoded by use (fashion), much less unconscious. The symbols are cheated and “played”, the archetypes mocked and dissolved. Dress-code establishes relationships of harmony, dissonance, agglutination with the “local” towards which it is directed and attracted, to overcome that fatal and fairy line of the entrance: true liminoid zone that, once crossed, triggers the momentary flow of his desire.
