Abstract
The work seeks to promote an analysis and criticism of knowledge models between the technique and theatrics based on its applicability as science, through two time paths: for viamoderna and contemporary. I proceed on the basis of the argument that those models of instrumental knowledge are taken on the condition of a human purpose. In our focus, such models represent the basis for sustaining society to meet the needs of human developments. The discussion takes place in two parts, namely: the first looks at the elements between technique and athenology in terms of concept, progress and its implications; in the second, we justify how the ethical category separates the balance between the identity of the technique and the technology by technical means. Argumentation proposes an efficient understanding tool for a fresh look at the understanding and progress of human actions.
