Abstract
The national education system not only reveals weaknesses in its ability to install cognitive and procedural skills in its students, but also in the quality of its evaluation systems. While evaluating is a cumbersome and complex task for teachers, the Informatised Tests provide a powerful tool to improve relevance, validity and rigour in the evaluation action. The Informatised Tests are versatile and friendly applications, which not only make it easier for teachers to assess, but also, by allowing the use of calibrated and proven metric items, make it more objective and fair to certify proficiency, incorporating the new inputs from the theory of response to the item. For this reason, technological ownership can be heavily dependent on improving the efficiency and quality of the education process in general.
