Abstract
In this article, we address the shortcomings detected in the implementation of gender mainstreaming in organisations, placing ourselves in the structures of gender culture and climate. This allows us to define the concept of gender equality skills and to classify them. To characterise this term, we have based ourselves on socio-cultural theory, looking at the contributions made by the Doing Gender approach. These competences are skills that an organisation’s and members can possess and influence organisational culture. They are also necessary for the implementation of gender Mainstreaming. Finally, we propose lines of intervention in organisations aimed at achieving equity between women and men.
