Abstract
We live at an interesting moment in the development of new technologies and the opportunities they open for the storage, distribution, updating, handling and presentation of information. For Distance Universities, the challenge is to provide opportunities to learn to understand and effectively use the large amounts of information that characterise our societies. The public raises a variety of demands for education depending on their particular situation and circumstances. Distance Education represents a global reality with constant quantitative and qualitative growth, which has recently been enhanced WITH NEW MEDIES Communication. This is a fact of undeniable social, economic, cultural, political significance, and every day it reaches more countries, schools, pupils. This is why experiments, innovations to improve the system and their presence in institutions specialising in Distance Education are multiplied.
