this text seeks to address the urgency of reflecting scientific method and methodology issues from feminism and other theories that articulate gênero and epistemology. In the same vein, it establishes dialogue between social movements and the academy in order to understand the influences between them. Feminism is political, historical, philosophical, epistemological and pedagogical and is committed to equality between people. On the basis of feminist and gênero theory, approximation is sought with the methodology of deconstruction and reconstruction in order to engage in dialogue in the educational and social field. The discussion proposed by feminism is consistent with the epistemological (and political) perspective alongside the Gênero category as a hermenological mediation to critically analyse scientific production, social and institutional relations. Taking the view that the production of knowledge is based on joint experiences, we believe that it is appropriate to examine the issue of feminist methodology in the field of education as one of the ways of building fair relations, respect and reciprocity.
