Methods such as quarantine, closure of borders, hygiene measures have been used in prevention of outbreaks. Medical facilities and the overall economic landscape have prevented the fight from being healthy. The struggle, which was ongoing by different methods, was undergone various criticisms in the press and in the political plane. Measures taken led to disruptions in areas such as education, transport and trade, which led to criticism.
