This article provides a reflection on a key sociology figure such as Goffman. We are proposing a journey through your work in order to deepen your dramatic model. Action located, presentation of the self, frames or social interaction are elements addressed through comparison with other authors, including Parsons, Durkheim and even Freud itself. Goffman’s work has been analysed from multiple perspectives, giving rise to various interpretations, but undoubtedly what emerges from it is a continuous attempt to draw the difficult and complex meeting between the micro- and macro, without being able to fit into any known theoretical currents.
