Abstract
The work presents a reflection on the body and dance workshop with women, undertaken in a service for women in violence in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro. The body and dance workshop refers to a dialogical work carried out by an interdisciplinary team composed of a professional psychology and students of the Dance course. For this article, the sixty-five reports produced by dance trainees and psychologists during the one-year workshop work were analysed. From the report study it was possible to construct four categories of analysis: the structure of the workshops; the issue of interdisciplinarity; bodies in workshops; speaking in workshops. The proposed reflections point to the importance of interdisciplinary actions in the field of public policies to tackle violence against women.
