On a broad historiographical basis, the preconditions for the emergence and conduct of demonstrative, demonstration and collective experiments were considered, starting from the XVIII century to the early 60s of the last century, especially on the Ukrainian lands. Due to the course of legislative decisions, the formation and improvement of the system of organizational forms, which led to the emergence in March 1934 of the so-called collective farm research case, first of all to meet the needs of the collective and state farm construction in the USSR. Their most famous achievements in the field of agrarian science are revealed. It has been proved that the methodological basis in the pre-war period for the activity of the initial organizational construction of the collective farm research case - the hut-laboratories was the broad study of the possibilities developed by T.D. Lysenko in the theory of yarovization, and in the 50's of the twentieth century - the systems of soil cultivation by T.S. Maltsev's method through collective farm research stations created in all regions of Ukraine. The article considers the contribution of some outstanding scientists to the emergence of organizational approaches, and later in the theoretization and deployment of the system of introduction of the latest achievements of domestic agrarian science in different systems of power. The periodization of the evolution of organizational foundations of collective farm experimentation is proposed.
