Abstract
An important aspect in archaeological science is the process of detailed research and documentation of unique art objects with the help of new methodological developments, technologies and techniques. The use of modern digital technologies and microscopy is the basis for the identification of details of objects and their precise fixation. In the process of working with artifacts from the burial complexes of the Khun burial site Cheremukhovaya Pad in Transbaikalia, the team of authors found a new image on the horn suspension from the burial of a teenager. The article presents the results of microscopic and stylistic analysis of zoomorphic image, attribution of the image to a biological species, its cultural affiliation. The conclusions are based on the identification of taxonomic and artistic and stylistic features, as well as proposed versions of a possible semantic meaning.
