Abstract
Developing countries such as Colombia seek to contribute to economic enrichment by incentivising business creation and innovative projects, which is why governments, academics and private institutions are increasingly interested in studying and designing policies and programmes to support such projects. This article presents an extension of Timmons’ entrepreneurship model (1999), which consists of explaining the ‘resources’ variable that interferes with the processes of creating innovative entrepreneurship through public-private partnerships, so that it can be applied by entrepreneurs in the creation of innovative projects in Colombia and in turn contribute to the country’s economic development.
