These works are devoted to the general aspects of the professional training of the choreography teacher (L. Androshchuk, O. Burlya, O. Addressing to this problem is caused by a number of socio-political events in Ukraine, the reform of school education and the implementation of partnership pedagogy, mainstreaming the issues of national education and forming schoolchildren’s universal values etc. Prospective choreographers, who are being training at pedagogical universities to manage children’s dance groups, should actively be involved into creating their own productions of dance various genres for schoolchildren of all ages. It promotes the formation of choreographers’ professional competence and pedagogical skills. The author’s development of the choreographic miniature “Spring Fantasy” is proposed. It is aimed not only at the aesthetic and physical development of schoolchildren, but also at the formation of their love for nature. The author concluded that in the context of the reform of school education, special attention is paid not only to teaching but also to the educating schoolchildren. It is the school choreographic group and the teacher-choreographer that influences directly the development of children’s moral, aesthetic, and artistic qualities. The success of implementing the pedagogical process into the choreographic group depends on the professional readiness of the future choreographer, from the received choreographic and pedagogical knowledge, skills and abilities. To help the teacher, the author offers his own development of choreographic miniature.
