Critical attitude as philosophical life: truth, power and spirituality in Foucault

Abstract

The article addresses the work of the French ilsopher Michel Foucault. Part of the year 1978, with the question about the illustration made by the thinner gallo, when he is dealing with the question of subjectivity and its relationship with truth and power, on the basis of his examination for criticism. The text suggests that this orientation towards criticism, in the context of its relationship with the law, would be updated as a spiritual exercise with detensionary functions, in its proposal for a critical ontology of the present day of 1983, as an illosophical life (ethos).
