Abstract
It is possible to see signs of different religions and different cultures in Konya, which has hosted many nations from the Hittites to the Lidians, from the Romans to the Turks. In the Christian holy book, the historic city of Iconium was visited several times by Paul during his missionary journeys. These journeys, including Lystra and Derbe from nearby Konya, have occasionally led to violent opposition by pagans and Jews, and sometimes miraculous events occurred. Although there are researchers discussing the accuracy of this information, these areas continue to be of interest to religious Christians.
