The Rodenkov antidoping law of the United States of America of 2019 entered into force of the 4th decembra in 2020, after it was signed by the precursor of the tramp. This law introduces the extraterritorial jurisdiction of U.S. state authorities and courts for wrongdoing “big international doping fraud, which may be committed by any person, except sportsmen, inserted into doping-related sovereigns in major international sports sports takm. The law had uni generous bilateral support in Congress, with a big approval of American sports circles. The only genuine opposition to the law took place outside the USA. above all by the All-Doping Agency (WADA), the International Olympic Committee and Saveta Evrope. Rodchenkov’s main and substantive objection to the law concerns concerns the law undermines the globally recognised antidoping programme through its extraterritorial provisions; and undermines Wade’s capacity to fulfil its mission of global antidoping regulator and calves overseeing the implementation of the Holy Anti-Doping Code, including compliance by signatories with The Code. Author analyses the instigation of the adoption of the Rodenkov antidoping law on harmonisation the fight against doping at global level, pointing to its inscribed, the reasons which led to its adoption and the controversy it creates.
