This article analyzes the introduction of an online self-assessment system to demonstrate the skills acquired by students after the participation of a specialist in Dentistry that allows the application of a basic science such as Histology in clinical reasoning and dental practice. The students showed greater satisfaction with the method as well as improved the ability to acquire the specific competences of the subject.
