Abstract
In response to the possibility of analysing from a particular edge – such as forms of state violence – the hegemonic reconfiguration of global capitalism, Pilar Calveiro assumes that ‘the specific forms that assume the use of institutional force at this stage are not fortuitous but correspond significantly to the forms of organisation of political power, social representations and the values in force that make it acceptable’ (14). The book is divided into three stages: an introduction and a first section delimiting both the historical, social, political and economic coordinates and the theoretical and methodological coordinates that guide the letter; eight intermediate sections divided into two parts according to the faces of the enemigo-subject of state violence (external and internal); and final considerations.
