Abstract

This short article derived from research presents an analysis of the angosta novelty (2003) of Colombian writer Héctor Abad Líolince. The author uses the input of social theory and the sociocrytic methodology to emerge the fiction space configuration in the novel. In itself, the work establishes links between the historical real time, for this case the contemporary city and the axiological configuration of the fiction space present in the novel. The analysis and argumentation also explores in a social and historical way the role played by the city in the so-called modernity and critical judgement of literature against human condition and life in the.As the result of a brief study, this paper, contains an analysis of the novel angosta (2003), by Colombian writer Héctor Abad Líolince. In order to make the fictional space configuration possible in the novel, the author references to social theory and socio-critical methodology. This paper laying down the relationship between the historic chronotopos – in this case the contemporary city- and the axiological configuration of the fictional space used in the novel. Likewise, the analysis and the Argumentation explore, socio-logically and historically, the role played by the city in the so called moderation, and the critical judgment of literature regarding the human condition and the life it females.
