Abstract
This article is a continuation of the text by Angélica Lima Cruz, returning to the issue of the construction of a gaze which incorporates or denounces a culture of violence against women. It explores how the feminist critique of violence against women unveils the mechanisms of its re/production, also showing how art may become a means of deconstructing this violence. For this purpose, it presents and analyses a few artistic interventions and installations produced by feminists, both in Portugal and abroad, as part of feminist activism engaged in combating violence against women.
