Abstract
With the development of the Internet of Things or Ubiquitous Computing, human and environmental interactions are exponentially mediated and analysed by interactive systems. In this context, it is worth considering how interactive systems, which are inherently systems of interpretation of the real world, deal with human actions and outputs and what representations they give to them. On the basis of a comparative analysis of the offline science science process and the online science survey process, this article proposes to launch a discussion on the symbolic prerequisites on which these new online measurement and social representation systems are based and operate.
