Abstract
This article aims to discuss the relationships between visual arts, cinema and the new challenges imposed on the various contemporary artistic productions, examining them in the light of a certain artistic tradition which, in its time, has been an imagery that does not separate artistic form from historical material. I will shed light on these issues by looking at the productive use that the film Arte is... the permanent revolution – indignation in the great art (2012) by Manfred Kirchheimer, makes this tradition, which he wants to integrate.
