Borderline situations arising from gênery violence

This text gives an overview of the Seminar Critical Routes III, held in Porto Alegre/Brazil in 2011, the focus of which was limited to ganery violence. Borderline situations are human rights violations that include feminicide or gêner-motivated murder; killings of LGBT people, violations of the rights of ethnic and racial minorities, sexual exploitation, violence against women in vulnerable situations and other violence arising from gênery. The aim of the meeting was to make it opportune to share experiences, to reflect critically and to build strategies for dealing with violence and borderline situations arising from gênery systems.
