Abstract
The study analysed the psychosocial (religion, orientation of social dominance) and psychopolitical variables (authoritarianism, political ideology) that collaborate in predicting prejudice towards sex workers (PTS). Research carried out with university students in two phases: instrumental phase for the construction and evaluation of a PTS scale, followed by a simple retrospective ex post facto study. After confirmation of the psychometric qualities of the scale, a multiple regression analysis was carried out. In both dimensions of the PTS, authoritarianism and opposition to equality were two of the variables that contributed most to prediction. Religion and ideological self-positioning also became preachers.
