Abstract
We look for this text to map and reflect on the third generation of researchers in the field of Galicia in Brazilian psychology, linking them to the insertion of the masculinities and Queers studies into their research centres. This generation, of which the authors of this article participate, is made up of researchers assigned to an already organised field, which has already been using the ‘gênero’ category, which has been recognised for some years in the social sciences and humanities. It is important to note that one of the main roles of this generation has been to disseminate and deepen the theoretical and methodological achievements generated by the first generations. In general, we can point out that the third generation reflects the current appreciation of plurality, the valorisation of new subjects in the feminist camp in Brazil, bringing subjects to research that focus on the search for legitimacy in the new configurations of Brazilian feminist movements.
