Abstract
This article deals with Sexual Orientation in the early years of Fundamental Education. This was done by means of literature research and field research with teachers and students at the Belo Ramo Municipal School. The aim was to analyse the pedagogical relationships that occur in the school area in relation to sexuality. Some authors who have been involved in the search: Paulo Freire and César Aparecido Nunes. The research found that addressing human sexuality as an intentional intervention, supposedly makes it possible to build new concepts and restructure social standards, but is silent in the school pedagogical action.Key words: sexual orientation; fundamental education; teachers; students.
