Residential mobility to a metropolitan municipality: the case of Las Rozas de Madrid

Abstract

Although the geographs have always included mobility in their geographical studies in the city, they have only recently given it the necessary emphasis, given the complexity of the topic. Residential mobility is seen as a product of housing offers – new housing and vacant housing in the internal areas of the citizen – and of users’ needs and expectations, which are in turn a product of income, family size and lifestyle.
