End of an order: nature, divina law, feminism

Abstract

This text is based on the assumption that the magistere of the Catholic Church and the gênero studies operate under different epistemological assumptions by formulating the concept of a human nature and its analytical strength transcend academic speculation and theological scope. Some approaches to the understanding of nature in gênero studies and important documents are analysed in the reasoning of this proposal. It can be seen that far from being just epistemological embat, what emerges is the political relevance of the gênero category and its intrinsic relationship with feminism. It also discusses how to disleach the science and doctrine lexicons to society where there is a political confrontation between two movements: feminism and anti-gênery campaigns, the latter with transnational dimensions going beyond the conservative groups of Christianity leading them.
