Abstract
El hiding is a practice of ancestral origins that has developed around the world from different cultures. This article introduces us into the context of the history of its practice since pre-colombinary times, and then to focus on masgian-religious activities and beliefs hidden by various Latin American political figures, particularly Peru. This is reported on the basis of information provided by journalistic research, documentary and academic sources. Thus, the analysis of the magic religious cultural phenomenon and its practices is carried out from a theoretical and conceptual perspective, and then to address different cases. From a socio-cultural and anthropological perspective, it is also proposed that these hidden practices and in the highest spheres of power in societies should be fully applied, as this is still a practice that is still very common in the system of beliefs of many people of all economic and socio-cultural backgrounds. There is a need to develop study methodologies to address in an interdisciplinary way such a complex issue, involving anthropological, historical, sociological and psychological aspects.
