Abstract
In this article, we will focus on a description and analysis of the teaching of archaeology in the field of Chairs of the Faculty and Museum of Natural Sciences of the National University of La Plata between 1958 and 1977. Let us show what topics, methods and authors taught in the Archaeology Chairs Alberto Rex González and Eduardo Mario Cigliano, two academic leaders of that university institution who were involved in a process of renewal in the conceptions and practices of Argentinian archaeology, who competed in the training of young archaeologists and in the enactment of new anthropological perspectives in those years.
