Abstract
This contribution is justified by the need to analyse the participatory content that interactive young people convey in the use of ICT and social media during the origin of the 15M social movement. The objectives have been aimed at checking how young people feel, live and experience democratic citizenship through digital and media media, participating in the public place where a more informed digital citizenship is being formed between technological convergence, hypertextuality and non-linearity. Efforts have been made to identify both the educational content of their interactions and implications and the use of digital media media in their collective organisation. The methodology used is the in-depth case study carried out during the days of the camping in the public square, collecting observations, interviews, information from social media (Twitter, Facebook, n-1 and Tuenti), news from the media as well as from the media generated during the camping, and all photographs and posters of the event. From this techno-educational perspective, we look at how these young people widen their communication relationships and network by building new meanings of education, social and political. An analysis of your speeches reveals a reaffirmation of young people in ICT by participating in public communication and bringing new perspectives for citizen education.
