Abstract
On the basis of the idea, widely discussed and elaborated in the field of the Theories of Photography and Cinematography, the case of Siegfried Kracauer, Edgar Morin, Roland Barthes and other authors – including some of the experiences of Director Agnès Varda – that the photographic image is a bridge between objective reality and the subjective world. a sequence of practical experiments is proposed and carried out with regard to the reading, observation and revitalisation of some author’s photographs, using various mental and technical devices – smartphone cameras – the results of which provide interesting data on the emergence of new personal and narrative interpretations, beyond the reality objectively and mechanically captured by the camera. These results take the form of various audiovisual items, one of which is incorporated here, which in themselves constitute new creations, new aesthetic attitudes towards them, but also outside the original work.
