Quantitative easing of monetary policy in the Fed example – substance, objectives and impacts

Abstract

In response to the crisis, the Federal Reserve carried out quantitative easing to support the national economy. The work examined the effectiveness of the expansionary monetary policy pursued by Fed. The economic effects of such measures and the serious risks of inflation were found to be low.
