Report of an international scientific conference: The purposes of the Holy Koran in building civilization and Adranttp: //231522a5-e7bc-4f01-9092-06dad5541f54 organized an international scientific conference entitled: "The Purposes of the Holy Qur'an in the Building of Civilization and Amaran" was held on 22 and 24th of Rajab al-Khair, 1438H, corresponding to 18-20 April 2017, in Tunis and in the city of baths in the Republic of Tunisia. This conference served as a model for cooperation and coordination between research and academic institutions, both governmental and civil, in the service of Islamic thought by emphasizing the importance of the Koranic purposes in the civilizational and urban construction of the nation and the reform of the world order, and the rationalization of human civilization with the values of God. Report on an international scientific conference: Art in Islamic Thought://6c0b5d56-5f8b-4eb2-8271-4f80dccdb231 organized a scientific conference entitled "Art in Islamic Thought" in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the Faculty of Islamic Architecture and Art of the World Islamic University/Jordan. The conference was held at the Al-Fennar Hotel in the Jordanian capital of Amman. The Conference aimed to give effect to the Islamic perspective on issues, subjects and practices of art, and to re-consider the art site in Islamic thought as one of the distinct manifestations of Islamic civilization by defining the Islamic concept of art, defining its boundaries, its characteristics and its representations in the various fields of creativity in science, literature and architecture. The aim is also to contribute to the revival of Islamic art and to strengthen its practices in scientific, educational and cultural institutions, to study contemporary experiences of Islamic art practices, to develop artistic education programmes to enable it to develop taste, to develop a sense of beauty and creativity, to reveal the cultural role of art in building an individual ' s intimidating personality and to the collective personality of the Ummah, to promote noble human characteristics and to encourage practices that contribute to the presentation of cultural images of the Islamic Ummah in human activity. Twenty-two researchers, representing 10 States, participated in the conference: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia.
