One of the actual problems of modern Azerbaijan linguistics is the area of onomastic units and studying of their features. Onomastic units are proper names used in the language. Ashugs used these unite in their creative work and made inimitative and extraordinary word samples and poetic word complexes. The article deals with classic ashugs and explains etymology of some ashugs’ pseudonyms and nicknames.

Sayid Muhammedali Jamalzadeh, apart from being one of the greatest writers of Iran,
was succeeded in different science fields such as investigation, translation, history, and critique.
He laid the foundation of new style and new school in story genre by writing “نبود ویکی بود یکی“
(once upon a time). Jamalzadeh is considered to be the creator of new persian prose. Despite he
had undorgone from productive writing period, his works were not published for decades. Only
as a result of several scholars’ and Tehran University employees’ attempts, Sayid Muhammedali
Jamalzadeh’s works were published in the upcoming years.
One of the two novels given in “Muhammedali Jamalzadeh’s selected works” (2010)
edited by Ali Dehbashi, “Madness Desert” (جنون دشت (is being translated into Azerbaijanian
language for the first time. “Madness Desert” is a psychological novel and allows the reader feel
the author’s awareness of human soul immediately. Many different lives are described in the
underlined frame of the inequality and injustice. Author figures out how human soul is being
established and destroyed by facing these difficulties. In addition, novel also reveals the deepest
knowledge of Jamalzadeh in various fields like linguistics, literature and sociology.

The information of Mammadaga Shiraliyev's "Basics of Azerbaijani Dialectology" has
been presented in the research. Accents and dialects of the Turkmen language are examined on
sections such as "Phonetics", "Morphology", "Syntax" and "Lexika". Descriptive, comparative
and historical-comparative methods have been widely used in this book for the first time. The
materials of the Azerbaijanian accents and dialects were interpreted in connection with ancient
Turkish monuments, modern Turkic languages and their dialects. The dialectical materials were
derived from three sources: 1) The materials collected by the author personally were collected
by Shusha and its villages (1938), surrounding villages of Baku and Baku (1939-1940),
Nakhchivan city and Nehram village of Babek region (1941), Gazakh (1942), Ganja (1943)
materials. 2) The works of separate authors are some of these works, some of which are
protected as candidate dissertations and are kept in the library of the Azerbaijan State University
in the form of manuscripts. The scientific researches of N.Sh.Ashmarin, M.Islamov, R.
Rustamov, I.Hajiyev, B.Ibrahimov, K.Ramazanov, T.Hamzayev were involved. 3) Third source
During 1945-1958, the expedition of the Literature and Language Institute named after Nizami
of ASSR was organized by the Azerbaijan State University named after SM Kirov in Zagatala,
Gakh, Sabirabad, Alibayramli, Nakhchivan, Ordubad, Alibayramli, Agstafa, Tovuz, Gazakh,
Borchali, dialectological expedition from Shamakhi, Maraza and Ismayilli regions. In addition
to other Turkic languages, it was asked to compare the Cyrus, Bashkir, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Oirot
languages.

CONTRASTING TO THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TURKMEN DIALECT IN MAMMADAGA SHIRALIYEV'S "BASICS OF AZERBAIJANI DIALECTOLOGY"

This article discusses the current language situation in the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is formed as follows. Currently, the following languages operate in the territory of the republic: Azerbaijani — the state language of the AR; English — foreign language; Russian — at the same time a foreign language, a language of national minorities and a language of interethnic communication; Turkish — a foreign language and a language of national minorities; German, Spanish, Italian, French — foreign European languages; Lezginsky, Georgian, Talysh language — languages of national minorities. It is known that the ergonims of the city can reflect the linguistic situation, the political situation and such a process as the mutual influence of languages in the republic. In this regard, we have taken ergonims as the object of the study, as these terms combine economics, linguistics, aesthetics.The purpose of the work is to establish the relationship of language preferences of nominees with the language situation. The comparison of language preferences of nominees with the language situation is given. The author concludes that the current language situation is reflected in the ergonomics of the city.

В данной статье рассматривается современная языковая ситуация в Азербайджанской Республике, которая складывается следующим образом. В настоящее время на территории республики функционируют следующие языки: азербайджанский – государственный язык АР; английский – иностранный язык; русский – одновременно иностранный язык, язык нацменьшинства и язык межнационального общения; турецкий – иностранный язык и язык нацменьшинства; немецкий, испанский, итальянский, французский – иностранные европейские языки; лезгинский, грузинский, талышский язык –  языки нацменьшинств. Известно, что эргонимы города могут отражать языковую ситуацию, политическую обстановку и такой процесс, как взаимовлияние языков в республике. В этой связи в качестве объекта исследования нами были взяты эргонимы, так как данные термины объединяют в себе экономику, лингвистику, эстетику.Целью работы является установление взаимосвязи языковых предпочтений номинаторов с языковой ситуацией. Дается сравнение языковых предпочтений номинаторов с языковой ситуацией. Автор приходит к выводу, что сложившаяся языковая ситуация находит свое отражение в эргонимии города.

ЯЗЫКОВЫЕ ПРЕДПОЧТЕНИЯ НОМИНАТОРОВ В ЭРГОНИМИИ Г. БАКУ  (СОВРЕМЕННЫЙ ПЕРИОД)

The Yeghern – Genocide of Armenians in their homeland – has relatively recently become an object of political debate after decades-long silence. The already revealed facts of the universal evil, concepts and definitions shaping the public perception, among them the widely held and publicized formula of “The Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire in 1915-1923” which does not correspond to the factual and political content of this crime against humanity, await new interpretation. To this day the Genocide of the Armenians of Eastern Transcaucasia remains outside the Turkish crime. Consequences of the international political implications of Yeghern, as well as the irresponsibility of world powers as the main guarantors of international security, have not been adequately evaluated, and this is sure to lead to the establishment of new genocidogenic states and the legalization of criminal behaviour.
