In this sense, this work analyses the critical and intellectual position of three major thinkers of these Brazilian aesthetic moments: initialmentandOswald of Andrade and Glauber Rocha, revolutionary intellectuals, vanguardians have proposed in their works the decolonisation of Brazilian art, the first through the metapharylogy of the anthropophagy transformed into a theoretical development of national culture challied barbarie and technical, and the second through the violence caused by hunger in the ‘Hunger Sesthetics’, finally discussing how these two proposals have guided Modernism and the New Cinema in Brazil are present in the intellectual film production of the baian cineasta Olney São Paulo.
