autumn 1922, the fascist movement’s fighting squares over Rome with Benito Mussolini and the members of the Quadrumvirato at the forefront, calling for the end of the parliamentary paralysis that had cost Italy so expensive during the Great War. Under stress of power, the new regime launched its most ambitious objective: an anthropological revolution to forge a new hombre.To this end, it brought the economy along the paths of the corporativism, placed the state within the single party and recast the guidelines for education policy. The latter was first entrusted to Giovanni Gentile, an architect of the 1923 education reform. With the regime in what Felice has referred to as the time of consensus, Giuseppe Bottai, the ideologist of the corporativism, took the turn to work on consolidating the education system, promulgating the Charter of Scuola in 1939. The current debates on Italian fascism as a global phenomenon, an exporter of cultural subjectivities and political experiences that were welcomed with meaningful and implemented negotiations, seek to place the capacity of the fascist state to launch its geopolitical project. There is now a consensus in the history that it did not have the financial means or the diplomatic capacity to penetrate its Nazi counterpart. However, this article tests a case study exercise to demonstrate mussolinian conviction to do Italians wherever they were. To this end, he had a variety of devices, from legations and embassies, to informal diplomacy or independent actors whose interests were squeezed by Rome, as is the case with the Salesian Congregation in the colony of Chipilo.

Otoño de 1922, las escuadras de combate del movimiento fascista marchan sobre Roma con Benito Mussolini y los miembros del Quadrumvirato a la vanguardia, demandando el final de la parálisis parlamentaria que había costado tan caro a Italia durante la Gran Guerra. Asaltado el poder, el nuevo régimen puso en marcha su objetivo más ambicioso: una revolución antropológica para forjar un nuevo hombre.Para este fin condujo la economía por los senderos del corporativismo, encuadró al Estado dentro del partido único y refundó las directrices de la política educativa. Esta última encomienda recayó, primero, en manos de Giovanni Gentile, arquitecto de la reforma educativa de 1923. Con el régimen en lo que Felice ha denominado como la hora del consenso, tocó el turno a Giuseppe Bottai, ideólogo del corporativismo, la labor de operar la consolidación del sistema educativo, promulgando la Carta della Scuola en 1939.Los actuales debates sobre el fascismo italiano como fenómeno global, exportador de subjetividades culturales y experiencias políticas que fueron recepcionadas con negociaciones de sentido e implementación, buscan situar la capacidad del Estado fascista para poner en acto su proyecto geopolítico. Existe actualmente en la historiografía consenso respecto a que no dispuso de los medios económicos ni la capacidad diplomática de penetración que su contraparte nazi. No obstante, en este artículo se ensaya un ejercicio de estudio de caso para demostrar la convicción mussoliniana para hacer a los italianos donde quiera que estos estuviesen. Dispuso para ello de una variedad de aparatos, desde las legaciones y embajadas, hasta la diplomacia informal o actores independientes cuyos intereses fueron seducidos por Roma, como es el caso de la Congregación Salesiana en la colonia de Chipilo.

HEMOS HECHO ITALIA, AHORA TENEMOS QUE HACER A LOS ITALIANOS. EL APARATO EDUCATIVO TRANSNACIONAL DEL RÉGIMEN FASCISTA ITALIANO, 1922-1945

The central thesis of this work is to say that peronism is the translation of Italian fascism into Argentinian politics, on the understanding that the essence of fascism is inspired by the actualist philosophy of the Italian thinker Giovanni Gentile. This actualism is also the product of the dissociation operated by the same philosopher, towards the end of the 19th century, between materialism and dialectics. The study methodology used is transpolitical in that it is proposed to examine the phenomenon of peronism from a rigorous philosophical issue in order to grasp its own essence. The main text chosen for the above examination, without excluding others, is the Perón da Conference at the National Congress of Philosophy, held in Mendoza (Argentina) in 1949, and which will later be published under the title of the Organised Community.

La tesis central del presente trabajo consiste en afirmar que el peronismo es la traducción del fascismo italiano en la política argentina, entendiendo que la esencia del fascismo está inspirada en la filosofía actualista del pensador italiano Giovanni Gentile. Asimismo, este actualismo es el producto de la disociación operada por el mismo filósofo, hacia fines del siglo XIX, entre materialismo y dialéctica. La metodología de estudio empleada es la transpolítica por cuanto se propone examinar al fenómeno del peronismo desde una rigurosa problemática filosófica con el fin de aprehender su esencia propia. El texto principal elegido para el referido examen, sin excluir otros, es la Conferencia que Perón diera en el Congreso Nacional de Filosofía, celebrado en Mendoza (República Argentina) en 1949, y que más adelante va a publicarse bajo el título de La Comunidad organizada.

ResumenEl artículo presenta dos líneas de investigación. La primera, de naturaleza histórica, considera la relación de la filosofía de Suárez con el agustinismo filosófico, en particular con Enrique de Gante y Duns Escoto. Esta sección concluye afirmando que este influjo es la principal causa de las diferencias entre Suárez y Tomás de Aquino. En efecto, en la medida que Suárez acepta determinados conceptos del agustinismo filosófico, que fue el principal inspirador de la condena parisina del Aquinate en 1277, se pone en desacuerdo con Tomás de Aquino. La segunda línea de investigación estudia algunos aspectos del sistema filosófico desarrollado en las Disputationes metaphysicae, concluyendo que: 1) su concepto de sustancia material se asemeja a lo que Descartes llamará posteriormente res extensa; 2) su concepto de accidente abre el camino de un cierto fenomenismo moderno; 3) su teoría actualista del ser, al negar la existencia de la potencia y, por lo tanto, la distinción real entre la esencia y el esse, posibilita la reducción racionalista del ser a esencia, así como la reducción de la esencia al estado de un concepto objetivo o, para decirlo en otros términos, a la objetividad  racional.Palabras clave: agustinismo filosófico, Enrique de Gante, Duns Escoto; Descartes, Kant; material y forma, sustancia y accidentes, esencia y esse (acto de ser), acto y potencia AbstractThe article pursues two lines of investigation. The first line of investigation is historical in nature and considers the relation between the philosophy of Suárez and Philosophical Augustinianism: in particular his relation with Henry of Ghent and Duns Scotus. This section concludes that this influence is the main explanation for the differences between Suárez and Thomas Aquinas. In fact, insofar as Suárez accepts certain influences from Philosophical Augustinianism, which was the main inspiration of the 1277 condemnation of Aquinas in Paris, he puts himself at odds with Thomas. The second line of investigation considers some aspects of the philosophical system he works out in the Disputationes metaphysicae, concluding that: 1) his concept of physical substance is virtually akin to what Descartes will call res extensa; 2) his concept of accident paves the way for a certain strand of modern phenomenism; 3) his actualist theory of being, by denying the existence of potency, and therewith the real distinction between essence and esse, paves the way for the rationalist reduction of being to essence alone, and of essence to the status of an objective concept or, to put it another way, to rational objectivity.Keywords: philosophical Augustinianism, Henry of Ghent, Duns Scotus; Descartes, Kant; matter and form, substance and accident, essence and esse (act of being), act and potencyDOI: <a href="https://doi.org/10.17398/1886-4945.12.63">https://doi.org/10.17398/1886-4945.12.63</a>
