I am technical manager at OPERAS Research Infrastructure, where I am involved in creating a robust ecosystem for Open Access publishing in the European research area. My previous positions in the Academies of Sciences in Berlin and Mainz included creating digital editions, text corpora and lexicons, representing printed works and manuscripts or natively digital. I was responsible for different stages of text and image processing: data modelling, extraction, text and image mark-up, data quality assurance and delivery.
